Summary of “Masha and the Bear” for a reader’s diary
A fairy tale about a girl Masha who got lost in the forest and ended up in a bear's hut. She started cooking cabbage soup and porridge for him, but he wouldn’t let her go home.
But the girl outwitted the beast by sending him to her grandmother and grandfather with a basket of pies. The bear delivered the pies, and Masha sat inside the box with the pies and returned home.
There are two main characters in the fairy tale: the girl Masha, who loves to walk through the forests, and the wild beast Bear, who likes little girls as housekeepers.
The girl Masha and her friends went into the forest and got lost. I came across a hut where the Bear lived in splendid isolation for a long time.
The beast was glad that he now had a girl who would cook dinner for him and clean the house, and did not want to let her go.
But the girl wanted to go home. She came up with a trick with pies. She climbed into the box, and ordered the bear to take this entire huge box of pies to her relatives as a gift.
The bear did not know that the main gift (Mashenka herself) was sitting inside this pie mountain and took it to the grandfather and woman.
So Masha got home on a ride in the form of a box of pies.
