"A Tale of Two Dwarves." A tale of mutual assistance, kindness, non-judgment, forgiveness and true friendship

Fairy tale "Rules of Friendship"

Once upon a time there lived a little fox. And no one wanted to be friends with him. Once a little fox was walking in a clearing and met a hedgehog. He decided to make friends with him.

- Hey you, prickly head, let's be friends.

- Oh, little fox, little fox. Don't you know the rules of politeness?

- What is “politeness”?

- Politeness is... Come with me.

And they went along the path into the forest. They are walking, birds are singing all around, the sun is shining, and they see a raspberry bush. The hedgehog approached the bush, picked one berry and said to the little fox:

- Little fox, will you have a berry?

- Of course I will. - said the little fox and took the berry from the hedgehog.

The hedgehog shook his head in response, but did not say anything to the fox.

They walk further along the forest path and see a squirrel. And she jumps from one branch to another, and even wags her fluffy tail.

- Hello, squirrel. – the hedgehog waved his paw at her.

- Hello, hedgehog.

- Meet my little fox, this is my friend squirrel. Say hello to her.

- Hey, squirrel, great.

- Hello, little fox. – she said reluctantly and jumped higher, pretending that she had some business to do.

The hedgehog sighed and they moved on. And a hare meets them.

- Hello, bunny. - Hedgehog exclaimed. - It’s been so long since we’ve seen each other.

- Yeah, long time no see. - said the bunny and smiled with joy. - Sorry, hedgehog, my bunnies are alone at home, I’m in a hurry to get to them.

- It's OK. Just meet my new little fox friend.

- Very nice, I'm a hare. Sorry, I'm in a hurry. Bye, little fox.

The little fox just snorted in response. They walk further and see a tubercle growing right before their eyes on the path. The little fox was scared at first, but the hedgehog immediately realized that this was his old acquaintance, the mole.

- Hello, mole. - said the hedgehog and patted him on the head.

- Hello, hedgehog. Look how big the carrot harvest was this time. Help yourself, don't be shy.

“And I’m not alone, but together with my new friend the little fox.”

- Hello, little fox. Help yourself to my carrots, I don't mind.

- Oh, well, if so...

The little fox took as many carrots as he could fit in his paws. The hedgehog was about to tell him something, but he just sighed silently. He took just a little bit for himself, threw it on his prickly back, and they moved on. While they were walking, the little fox gobbled up all his carrots and didn’t even share them with the hedgehog. Meanwhile, a strong thunderstorm was approaching.

“Okay,” said the little fox. - It’s boring here with you, I’ll go.

- Wait, where are you going? A severe thunderstorm is approaching. Let's go to my house and wait for her there together.

- I'm not going anywhere. – the little fox snorted and left.

“Well, there’s nothing to do...” said the hedgehog and headed towards the house.

The little fox was slowly walking home when the rain began to pour sharply, a strong wind began, lightning flashed and thunder rumbled. He managed to hide under a fallen tree, curled up into a ball and realized that he was lost. He felt scared.

At that moment, the hedgehog sensed something was wrong and decided to find the little fox. Walking along the path along which the little fox had gone home, he met his old friends, the same ones whom he had met with the little fox. They were a squirrel, a hare and a mole.

- Hello friends. Could you help me find my new little fox friend?

- Hello, hedgehog. Oh, is this that ill-mannered little fox?

“He just needs to be taught politeness.”

- Okay, we'll help you.

And the hedgehog went with his friends in search of the little fox. By then the storm had intensified. The little fox realized that he was wrong when he treated the squirrel, hare, mole and of course the hedgehog impolitely. He felt ashamed of this.

The friends worked harmoniously: the squirrel looked for the fox from above, jumping from tree to tree, the hare was the fastest, so he looked for him in front, the mole looked for him by smell, and the hedgehog tried to figure out where he might be. They were almost in despair, but then the squirrel saw from a height a small red ball under a fallen tree.

- I found him, I found him. - the squirrel screamed at the top of her voice.

The animals ran up to him. The little fox was very happy and said to them:

- Guys, please forgive me. I was rude to you, but I realized that I was wrong. Let's be friends.

The animals forgave the little fox and became friends with him.

This is how the little fox learned the rules of friendship.
