Dear colleagues. The topic of my seminar-workshop is “Pedagogical means for effectively solving problems in moral and patriotic education”

Formation of morality and patriotism in preschoolers as an integrative personality quality, which embodies internal freedom and respect for state power, love for family, land, Motherland and the desire for peace; self-esteem, harmonious manifestation of patriotic feelings and culture of interethnic communication. As well as the foundation of moral and volitional behavior skills, which will gradually turn into a habit and become a natural need.

The work of teachers in the moral and patriotic education of preschool children includes a number of tasks:

  • creation of a system of moral and patriotic education;
  • nurturing in a child love and affection for his family, close people, his home, kindergarten, home street and city;
  • the formation of a careful and caring attitude towards nature and all living things;
  • fostering respect for people of different professions and the results of their work;
  • expanding ideas about the native country, its capital, cities;
  • introducing children to state symbols: coat of arms, flag, anthem;
  • familiarization with the historical past of our Motherland;
  • the formation of tolerance, a sense of respect and sympathy for other people, nations, and their traditions;

Means of moral and patriotic education of preschoolers can be combined into several groups:

— Fiction, visual arts, music, cinema can be combined into a group of artistic media. This group of means contributes to the emotional coloring of cognizable phenomena. Children emotionally and trustingly perceive fairy tales, poems, stories read to them, and look at illustrations for books. The child is strongly impressed by the works of artists who depict the world realistically and clearly. Artistic media are most effective in forming ideas and cultivating feelings in children.

— The means of moral and patriotic education of preschoolers is the nature of their native land. It evokes humane feelings in children, a desire to take care of those who are weaker and who need help. The impact of nature on the personality of children creates a sense of belonging, belonging to this corner of the Earth, and this corner belonging to a little person.

— The means of moral and patriotic education of preschoolers is the children’s own activities: play, work, learning, artistic activity. Each type of activity has its own specificity, serving as a means of instilling the practice of moral and patriotic behavior.

— A special place in the group of means is given to communication. It, as a means of moral and patriotic education, fulfills the task of correcting ideas about morality and patriotism, based on the awakening of feelings and the formation of relationships.

— The means of moral and patriotic education is the atmosphere in which the child lives.

The environment surrounding the child becomes a means of nurturing feelings, ideas, and behavior. It activates the entire mechanism of moral and patriotic education and influences the formation of moral and patriotic qualities.

The choice of means of education depends on the leading task, on the age of the students, on the level of their general and intellectual development, on the stage of development of moral and patriotic qualities.

To implement the moral and patriotic education of preschoolers, it is necessary to comply with some very important conditions.

  1. Increasing the level of self-education of teachers of preschool educational institutions. The teacher himself must know well what is appropriate to show and tell children, and most importantly, the material must be historically correct and adapted for children's perception. Various methodological activities will help with this: consultations, workshops, business games, showing open classes, work of creative groups, etc.
  2. Creation of a subject-based development environment. The thinking of a preschooler, as we know, is visual and figurative. Therefore, it is so necessary to saturate the reality surrounding the child with objects and aids that allow them to more accurately imagine what the teacher is talking about. For example, in groups of children of primary preschool age, corners for social and moral education have been set up, aimed at introducing children to their family, kindergarten, favorite city, village; in groups of children of senior preschool age - corners of patriotic education, containing material on familiarization with the city, country, and state symbols.

3.Organization of active interaction with the families of pupils. The family hearth, the union of kindred spirits under one roof, is the initial link of conciliar education. It is necessary to teach children to respect and preserve family traditions, to know their ancestry, and to honor the older generation.

The implementation of such a system of moral education is impossible without knowledge of the traditions of one’s homeland, one’s land. Only with the involvement of all participants in the educational process - teachers, parents, social institutions (museums, schools, libraries, etc.) can we talk about the successful implementation of the program of moral and patriotic education in preschool educational institutions.

Contact with the historical past of Russia spiritually enriches the child, fosters pride in their people, and maintains interest in their culture. And this is very important today!

Currently, it is necessary in preschool educational institutions to introduce children to the culture of their people as much as possible and develop their national identity. A child must, first of all, take root in his own land and culture, get acquainted with his original, and then master someone else’s. We live in a multinational state and every child must be provided with the opportunity to come into contact with their national culture.

In addition, getting to know the culture of the peoples of the immediate national environment is the surest way to educate, respect, sympathy, good feelings for people of other nationalities and ethics of interethnic communication.

Parents are the first educators of a child. They lay down the idea of ​​a small homeland, which is a family for a child. The homeland is a yard, This is a kindergarten, then a school. This is the city or village where he spent his childhood. We must help provide knowledge about our small homeland. Before you teach a child, you need to learn something yourself.

Of course, you need to start working on patriotic education by creating a warm, cozy atmosphere for children. Come to our kindergarten and you will immediately feel it. After all, by cultivating a sense of attachment to one’s own kindergarten, one’s own street, one’s own family, the formation of the foundation on which a more complex education will grow—a feeling of love for one’s Fatherland—begins. Turning to the heritage of our fathers fosters respect for our land, pride and pain for it. Knowing the history of your people will help you treat other nations with greater attention and respect in the future.

A preschool child lives surrounded by adults who have absorbed the experience and traditions of their small homeland. Children adopt adults’ assessment of what is happening and their attitude towards life. Based on the social experience of the family, the child receives information about the culture of human values. These values ​​form the beginning of moral consciousness. At the same time, the child discovers his own self, his first ideas about the Motherland and the future awaken. Love for parents is the basis of love for the Motherland.

It all starts from childhood. A child is not born evil or good, moral or immoral. What moral qualities a child will develop depends on parents and teachers, and on the adults around him.

Moral and patriotic education of a child is a complex pedagogical process. It is based on the development of moral feelings. The feeling of the Motherland... It begins in a child with family ties, with love for the closest people - mother, father, grandmother, grandfather. The feeling of love for the Motherland begins with admiration for nature, which the child sees in front of him, which evokes a response in his soul... And, although some impressions are not yet realized, they play a huge role in the formation of the personality of a patriot. Gradually, the child gets to know the kindergarten, his street, the city, and then the country, its capital and symbols. The teacher’s task is to choose from a huge number of child’s impressions those that are most understandable to him. These episodes should be vivid, imaginative, specific, and arousing interest. Therefore, when starting work on instilling love for one’s native land, the teacher must himself be a patriot. The teacher’s task is to think through what to show and tell the children. Any region, any area is unique. Each has its own nature, its own traditions and its own way of life. It is important to show the child that the small Motherland is famous for its history, traditions, sights, monuments, and best people. A four-year-old child should know the name of his street and the one on which the kindergarten is located. The attention of older children needs to be drawn to objects that are located on the nearest streets: school, post office, pharmacy, etc. The list of objects that older preschoolers are introduced to is expanding - this is the region and the city as a whole, its attractions, historical places and monuments. Every person has a home and city where he was born and lives. This requires excursions around the city and into nature. In moral and patriotic education, the example of adults, especially close people, is of great importance. Based on specific facts from the lives of older family members: grandparents, participants in the Great Patriotic War, their front-line and labor exploits, it is necessary to instill in children such important concepts as “duty to the Motherland,” “love for the Fatherland,” “hatred of the enemy,” “feat of labor”, etc. It is important to bring the child to understand that we won because we love our Fatherland. The Motherland honors its heroes who died for the happiness of people. Their names are immortalized in the names of streets and alleys; monuments and obelisks were erected in their honor. It is important that children see the “civilian face” of their family as early as possible. Do they know their grandparents, what their merits are, for which grandparents received letters of gratitude, certificates, medals, orders? And what are the merits of their parents, dad and mom? It is important for the education of moral and patriotic feelings of preschoolers to show through the small the big, the dependence between the activity of one person and the life of all people, through the family - the fate of society and the people. Work organized in this way contributes to the proper development of the microclimate in the family, as well as the cultivation of love for one’s country.

A production meeting “Contemplating a Miracle” was held in the kindergarten, where many for the first time discovered familiar places from a new side and learned a lot of interesting things about their region and city. The Rucheyok kindergarten has accumulated a lot of material on patriotic education. Extended teacher councils are held - “We live in Khakassia”, photo exhibitions - “Our City”, family newspapers “Take care of nature”, competitions, promotions, hikes. The methodological room has accumulated material for conducting classes with preschoolers.

2.Project implementation.

In order to improve work on a patriotic orientation, in the 2015–2016 academic year, a long-term kindergarten-wide project “Patriotic education in preschool educational institutions through network interaction” was launched in the “Rucheyok” kindergarten. Teachers of the kindergarten “Rucheyok”, through network interaction with society, carry out patriotic education, implementing the annual tasks of the kindergarten:

1.Create conditions for positive change in a preschool educational institution in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Education through a single educational space, through the development of network interaction.

2. Continue the work of introducing children to cultural and historical values, forming basic ideas about the history of the Fatherland, cultivating a conscious, careful attitude towards the historical heritage, through the inclusion in the educational program of materials of the regional component, spiritual, moral, civic and patriotic education.

Spiritual, moral and civil - patriotic education of children in preschool educational institutions is carried out within the framework of work on children’s mastery of the educational field “Socialization”, the objectives of which are the formation of gender, family, citizenship, and patriotic feelings; familiarization with basic generally accepted norms and rules of relationships with peers and adults. All areas of the kindergarten’s activities are united by one theme - “My Vast Russia”. We all do one small thing in our place, but it turns out to be a big thing - raising a new generation.

For the third year, the project “Springs of History”, jointly with the museum, has been implemented with immersion in the Khakass language environment. The museum held classes for children of the senior and preparatory groups: “Four-legged pioneers of outer space”, “Streets of our city”, “My favorite city”, “Basic law of the country”, the event “Candle of Memory”, “A soldier is always a soldier”, “Alive” memory" "My Khakassia", "Sorsku 50", "Khakass costume", Symbols of the Russian state", "Life of the Russian and Khakass people", "Khakass language day", "Native land - Ergaki", "My Khakassia" - national day unity, “Clothing and decoration of the Khakassians”, “Customs and traditions of the Khakassian people”, “Russian upper room”, etc.

Classes have been organized for the Khakass language circle “Chulydzhokh” (stream), which are conducted in the museum and at the kindergarten by the director of the museum, a teacher of Khakass language and literature.

The kindergarten regularly holds “Kindness and Respect” months, in which a series of classes called “Lessons of Kindness” is obligatory. The purpose of these classes is to develop moral values ​​and self-knowledge in the world of people. Very often these cycles end with meetings in the city museum. V.V. Andriyasheva. At the museum, children also performed a concert in front of members of the “Club of Wonderful People” in Sorsk. On March 8, a meeting with mothers “Most Beloved” 2022 was organized at the museum. Children made gifts for their beloved relatives, sang songs, read poems and just talked over tea. It is simple spiritual communication that is so lacking in our lives.

We constantly hold exhibitions of crafts and drawings in the museum space: “The coat of arms of our family”, “Beloved planet”, “Happy birthday, Earth”, “My homeland is Russia”, “My vast Russia”, “Workshop of native nature”, “ Museums of the Future”, “Dreamers”, etc. Pupils with the help of the museum director E.G. Kataeva makes excursions, virtual trips, and small discoveries. Thanks to the museum, children have the opportunity to repeatedly touch the history of their region, their city. They also involve their loved ones in this, since some adults first crossed the threshold of the museum thanks to their child, at his invitation.

For several years, the kindergarten has been collaborating with the Khakass theater of drama and ethnic music “Chitigen”, the folk ensemble “Ailanys”, and the dance ensemble “Khaikhus”.

It's a pleasure to collaborate with professionals in your field. Artists show children dramatic tales with Khakass symbols, everyday life, and musical instruments: “Magic Khomys”, “Who Stole the Traffic Light?”, concerts “Music of the Khakass Steppe”, “Meeting the Spring Sun”. The ensemble conducts the Khakass holiday “Chyl Pazy” in a very interesting way with all the attributes, songs, dances, and tying a chalama on a symbolic birch tree. Excellent costumes, wonderful artists, musicians, it’s just a matter of pride to see such an ensemble in Khakassia. Children and employees enjoy participating in the celebration and looking at such beauty. It is living together side by side, celebrating national holidays, and not ostentatious events calling for tolerance, that is the basis of friendship between peoples, the foundation of our state.

Joint work of children with the Veterans Council

is a union of wisdom with youth. The guys participated in 2022 and 2018 in the patriotic song competition “Feat is Immortal”, organized by the Council of Veterans and the music school, received certificates for ensemble singing - 1st and 2nd place, for solo performance - 2nd place. Pride knew no bounds. We have such a tradition - on the eve of the Victory Day, children with teachers go to the homes of veterans, give them made cards, flowers, and read poems. The kindergarten was awarded in 2022 with a diploma from the Department of Culture, Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Sorsk City Administration for active participation in the city’s “Memory Postcard” event dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and aimed at the patriotic education of the younger generation.

It has already become a tradition in kindergarten to celebrate various months.

These are: “Month of Ideas”, “Month of Family”, “Month of Kindness and Respect”. In the year of ecology in kindergarten - “Ecology Month”. There was a competition of wonderful posters, an exhibition of homemade newspapers “Kindergarten from all sides” about the wonders of nature, open screenings, an environmental fairy tale competition. Children participated in the regional competition “The sky is blue over Russia”, received 2 certificates for 2nd place and one for 3rd place, together My parents and I created the album “Tales of the Sounding Stream”. An interesting, but forgotten form - the propaganda team really liked our students. They performed with pleasure at methodological associations and at concerts. With the propaganda team “We Think Green” we took part in the 2nd city video competition “Eco-lrive” and received a certificate for 2nd place. Together with the Fire Department, we held a relay race “Protect the forest from fires,” watched and discussed videos about caring for nature. An interesting form is ecological fantasies. Children came up with amazing animals, sea inhabitants, birds, plants, composed them from various geometric shapes, came up with names, qualities, and habitats. The imagination is just off the charts, the interest in the game is very high. The guys know that protecting nature means protecting the Motherland.

Librarians from the city children's library are participating in the networking project

, teachers and children of secondary senior and preparatory groups. During this time, the guys became members of the “Book Travel Club”, where they learned a lot of interesting things about our vast Russia, about the Yenisei River - “The Yenisei is the pride of Siberia”, about “The Most Famous Volcanoes”. Our students took part in an interesting educational quiz “Round Dance of Fairy Tales” on the “Guess Show”. With pleasure they completed drawings for the exhibition “New Year’s Round Dance”, “And Still Good Wins”. The following events were held with children: Literary and historical hour “War. Victory. Memory”, “Our generation of soldiers”, “My profession is my future”, “The beginning of everything is my father’s house”. Events in the library: for the Day of National Unity - “The Strength of Russia is in National Unity”, the Day of Disabled Persons - “Let’s open our hearts to kindness”, “Who said that they are not like that”, “The world begins with you”; for Mother's Day; for the Day of the Elderly - “Kindness should be in everyone”, Lessons of wisdom and kindness. Souls are golden reserves”, exhibition of posters: “We think green”, “You and I need the Earth”. The drawings of our students were published in the magazine of the Republican Children's Library "Country of Chitalia". In 2022, the city library hosted a reading competition “We are proud, we remember, we honor,” dedicated to Victory Day, in which more than 20 children from the senior and preparatory groups participated. All children received certificates for winning places and for participation. The jury members were librarians from the central city library. Library workers are participants in methodological associations of the kindergarten and children's events.

Our preschool institution constantly cooperates with the House of Children's Creativity

. In the kindergarten, circles “Paper plastic arts” and “Colored palms” are organized. Quest games were held jointly with the Orienteering association. Some children already in kindergarten begin to attend various associations and clubs. They are especially interested in the “Magic Clay” association. Children constantly visit DDT exhibitions. Children want to quickly try to make crafts, take part in competitions, and decorate their interior. A creative start has been made. The doors of the House of Children's Creativity are open to our graduates - in the 2022 school year, 5 projects were implemented in the creative association "Magic Clay". All projects: “Wintering birds of Khakassia”, “Hedgehog with fruits and berries”, “Decorative plate”, “Basket with spring flowers of the native land”, “Hen with chicks” have already been completed with holidays in kindergarten together with the head of the association. Children with project leader S.L. Elgecheva We made wonderful panels that decorate kindergarten groups and small copies of these panels for home. All students received certificates for their cooperation. Due to the fact that the kindergarten cooperates with social structures, the resource provision for events does not come at the expense of the kindergarten.

They hold various events with children: “Russian Flag Day”, “Tales of Grandma Agafya”, “Folk Games”, “Visiting Grandma Zabavushka”, etc. Every year our students participate in the “Merry Notes” competition. The kindergarten constantly takes part in city holidays: “Russia Day”, “Metallurgist Day”, “Oh, my pancakes, pancakes”. A lot of our graduates dance in the Exemplary Dance Group “Mosaic”, sing songs in the vocal group “Rosinochka”, and delight adults and children with their performances. Our pupils performed in 2022 at the Metallurg Palace of Culture with congratulations and gifts at an evening dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the elderly; children from the entire kindergarten made cards, which were presented at the celebration of elderly people at the Palace of Culture. Children from the senior and preparatory groups read wonderful poems about grandparents. A sense of pride in one’s city is also fostered through processions on holidays: “City Day”, “Metallurgist Day”, “Immortal Regiment”, in which our children always participate with teachers and parents.

Cooperation with the Sports Complex

gives our children health and strengthening of family values ​​through events such as “Mom, Dad, Me – a Sports Family”, “Family Relay Races”, “Weekend Race”, etc.

Throughout the year, preschoolers of all groups participated and won in all-Russian and republican competitions: “Rus. Russia. My Motherland” – a drawing competition organized by the United Russia party; “Invisible Drawings”, “Kingdom of Mushrooms”; “Plasticineography”, “Magic Wand”, “Who else if not us?”, “Pharmacy underfoot”, etc.

It is very difficult. Love for parents is the basis of love for the Motherland. Children first learn love in their own family, and then towards all people. Therefore, we begin our work on spiritual and moral education by instilling love for our own family, for our native garden, city, Khakassia. To strengthen family ties, our kindergarten holds many family holidays, family exhibitions, competitions: “Family Team Competitions”, “Workshop of Creative Ideas”, a competition of crafts from vegetables and autumn leaves “Autumn Melody”, “All the Colors of Autumn”, “Winter bouquet”, “Kindergarten of the future”.

A large number of works were made by children with their parents and teachers. Everyone received certificates for prizes and participation. Regular holidays: “Mother’s Day”, “Victory Day” (a joint concert of children, parents and teachers), “Family Day”, “My Dad is the Best”. Entertainment from the series “Forgotten Games of Our Grandfathers and Grandmothers” - Russian and Khakassian games, was held for all groups, including the smallest, everyone had a lot of fun and interest.

The entire kindergarten participated in the all-Russian competition “Star in the Palm.” Many wonderful crafts were made, fairy tales were written, and Olympiads were held. Children and adults received diplomas. But most importantly, everyone was united by a common idea, a common cause. The city museum and kindergarten held exhibitions of drawings and crafts on the following topics: “Portrait of Dear Mom,” “Family Coat of Arms,” “Genealogical Family Tree,” “We live in Russia.” In kindergarten there is very close cooperation with parents. Family Month is also held every year. The program for this month includes family holidays, library classes, and moral conversations. The number of parents at such events increases every year.

Children in kindergarten study the symbols of Russia and Khakassia, folk costumes, customs through corners, albums that are created in each group. In 2022, “Bread Week” was held, during which children learned about the process of growing wheat and rye, the customs of baking bread, and baked bread and buns themselves. We also learned about blockade bread and tasted it. The propaganda team “Russian Field, I am your thin spikelet” was created with the children, which successfully performed in front of children and adults on May 9 and participants of the methodological association.

Patriotic education is the interaction of teachers and children, aimed at revealing and developing universal moral qualities of the individual, familiarizing them with the origins of the national culture of the region, with their native nature, and a sense of belonging.

As a result of the implementation of the project, prerequisites have been created in the educational institution that reveal a system of views on the problem of moral and patriotic education of children in general. Patriotism cannot be measured in drops, kilograms and sizes. But according to the results of annual monitoring, we see that children of senior preschool age have a sufficient level of moral knowledge, in the process of joint work with teachers and independent activities, they acquire an understanding of the norms and rules of behavior, the development of moral feelings and emotions, learn to follow learned moral standards and independently commit moral choice. Based on the results of the thematic control, it is clear: a subject-developing educational environment in groups was created in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard for Educational Education. The groups are equipped with special zones: for children of primary preschool age - corners for social and moral education, aimed at introducing children to microsociety (family, kindergarten, city); for children of senior preschool age - corners of patriotic education containing material on familiarization with their native country and state symbols. A system is traced in planning the work of teachers in moral and patriotic education. Teachers cultivate in preschoolers curiosity, a sense of love and affection for their family, their home, their people, their customs, traditions in various activities.

The results of pedagogical observations showed positive dynamics of development. The children's knowledge has improved. Our parents became like-minded people. A separate program is being developed for the spiritual, moral and patriotic education of preschool children.

The essence of moral and patriotic education is to sow and cultivate in a child’s soul the seeds of love for the native nature, for the home and family, for the history and culture of the country, created by the labors of relatives and friends, those who are called compatriots.

Patriotic feelings are formed in the process of life and existence of a person located within a specific sociocultural environment. From the moment of birth, people instinctively, naturally and imperceptibly get used to their environment, the nature and culture of their country, to the way of life of their people. Therefore, the basis for the formation of patriotism are deep feelings of love and affection for one’s culture and one’s people.

Much has been written about the importance of introducing a child to the culture of his people, since turning to the paternal heritage fosters respect and pride for the land on which you live. It is in the family that interest in the culture, language, history of one’s people, state, its traditions and customs arises, and a personality begins to form.

In light of the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard , working with parents is the main condition of the educational process .

The modern system of work on patriotic education is a model that includes three main areas:

Ecological: Nature is an important factor in the education of patriotism . She surrounds the child, enters his life early, is accessible and understandable to him. The formation of a sense of the Motherland begins with the ability to see the beauty of one’s native nature. Knowledge of the nature of one’s region makes it possible to see and find connections between natural phenomena, teaches correct behavior, the ability to care for, preserve and love what surrounds us.

Historical and local history: Each region, city, village is unique, differing in its historical past and architecture. The task of teachers and parents is to acquaint children with the surrounding reality, based on historical events and facts. You should tell your child that his hometown is famous for its history, sights, monuments, and great people. Every street, building, every corner of your hometown, village keeps the memory of events. It is impossible to love them and protect them without knowing their fate and historical past.

Cultural: By introducing children to the origins of folk culture, we introduce them to the cultural wealth of the Russian people. By introducing children to folklore, antiquities, and traditions of the people, we help them learn the experience of our ancestors.

The goal of the preschool educational institution’s work on this issue is to create a system of patriotic and spiritual and moral education of young people to form a socially active personality of a citizen and patriot with a sense of national pride, civic dignity, love for the fatherland, one’s people and readiness to defend it.

Based on the goal, the work of teachers on the moral and patriotic education of preschool children includes a number of tasks:

The moral, patriotic and spiritual education of a child is a complex pedagogical process . It is based on the development of moral feelings .

Feeling of Motherland. It begins in a child with his relationship to his family, to the closest people - mother, father, grandmother, grandfather. These are the roots that connect him with his home and immediate environment.

The feeling of the Motherland begins with admiration for what the child sees in front of him, what he is amazed at and what evokes a response in his soul. Based on specific facts from the lives of older family members (grandparents, participants in the Great Patriotic War, their front-line and labor exploits), it is necessary to instill in children such important concepts as “duty to the Motherland,” “love for the Fatherland,” “hatred of the enemy,” “feat of labor”, etc. It is important to bring the child to the understanding that we won because we love our Fatherland, the Motherland honors its heroes who gave their lives for the happiness of people. Of course, a humane attitude towards people of different nationalities is created in a child primarily under the influence of parents and teachers , i.e. adults who are next to him. This is especially true these days, when confrontations over these issues arise among some of the adult population.

By the end the preschool period, the child should know: our country is inhabited by people of different nationalities; each people has its own language, customs and traditions, art and architecture; Every nation is talented and rich in craftsmen, musicians, artists, etc.

Thematic planning contributes to the effective and systematic acquisition of knowledge by children. Work on each topic includes classes, games, excursions, unregulated activities for children, and on some topics - holidays.
