Regulations on the portfolio of a preschool teacher

Each author of the work must draw up a teacher’s portfolio in accordance with the requirements for the preparation of this document. On June 26, 2000, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation developed a regulation on the portfolio of a preschool teacher, which is a guiding document that determines the structure and content of this folder. On its basis, as well as within the framework of the previously adopted Law “On Education” in the Russian Federation, the existing Methodological Recommendations of the Ministry of Education in each institution, the teaching staff is developing its own regulations on the portfolio of a preschool teacher, which will serve as further guidance for the work of everyone who works in a particular kindergarten garden. The drafted Regulations must be adopted at the teachers' council.

Methodological recommendations for drawing up a portfolio of teacher achievements

Certification of teaching staff in order to establish a qualification category (first or highest) is carried out in accordance with the Procedure for certification of teaching staff of organizations engaged in educational activities, approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated 04/07/2014 No. 276, and on the basis of the Work Regulations certification commission formed to carry out certification in order to establish the qualification category of teaching staff of organizations carrying out educational activities and under the jurisdiction of the Samara region, teaching staff of municipal and private organizations carrying out educational activities (approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara Region dated 06.26.2014 No. 224-od).

Certification is an examination of documents and materials collected in the individual folder of the certified employee (portfolio of achievements).

The purpose of these recommendations is to specify the requirements for the compilation and execution of a portfolio of achievements.

Structure and content of a portfolio of achievements

A portfolio is an individual storage folder of documents and materials collected by a certified teacher, indicating the results of his professional activities in the declared position during the inter-certification period .

The inter-certification period should be understood as:

5 years if the teaching worker is re-certified (from the first qualification category to the first or from the highest qualification category to the highest);

minimum 2 years if a teaching worker is certified from the first qualification category to the highest or is certified for the first time in the first qualification category.

The structure of the portfolio of achievements includes sections, the number and name of which depends on the indicators specified in the expert opinion on the results of the analysis of professional activities for the positions of teaching staff. A set of documents for each indicator is preceded by a separating sheet, which includes the number and name of the indicator.

The title page of the portfolio of achievements (Appendix 1) indicates: last name, first name, patronymic of the person being certified, position, place of work, declared qualification category, date of the examination (according to schedule).

Next comes a business card containing additional information about the employee being certified (Appendix 2).

Next is a list of documents and materials (contents).

The main content of the portfolio of achievements consists of materials and documents presented on paper in the form of certificates, reports, tables, printouts, copies of diplomas, diplomas, certificates, certificates, etc.

Making a portfolio of achievements

All portfolio materials are provided on paper: text - Times New Roman font, font size 14, line spacing - one and a half (except for tables).

Prepared documents and materials for each of the indicators are placed in a hardcover folder , each sheet (A-4) is filed using a hole punch ( without files or paper clips ). Documents are provided in copies certified by the head of the educational organization.

The portfolio is not returned to the person being certified, and feedback on the portfolio is not given.

Examples, free portfolio templates for a preschool teacher

Since any portfolio of a preschool teacher must be compiled impeccably, you must try to complete it efficiently. The folder provides a summary of your experiences, so there cannot be two completely identical contents, just as there cannot be two identical teachers. However, you always need to focus on something, so it’s easier to collect and organize personal work if you first look at examples of ready-made, beautifully and competently designed teacher portfolios, and then create your own folder based on a blank template, using material prepared in advance. Some people prefer to draw up one sheet of paper a day, for others it will be more convenient to work all day long in order to end up with a finished masterpiece with which they won’t be ashamed to go get a new job, undergo certification or submit their work to a competition.

After looking at the examples, choose a template for your teacher portfolio and painstakingly fill the folder letter by letter until it becomes as weighty as those of those authors who have already passed the test and are proud of their work. A ready-made template is not enough to make the work decent. You need to stock up on photographs, scans of documents and patience, which will be the key to success.

In this institution – 1 year 5 months

In this position – 1 year 5 months

Refresher courses

In March 2015 completed training at GAPOU SO “Volsky Pedagogical College named after. F. I. Panferova" under the advanced training program "Effective ways to implement the Federal State Educational Standards of Additional Education"

Basic operating principle

The main principle of my work is to always be “a little bit” a child, to be able to feel like children, to rejoice and laugh with them; to be invisible when the baby is busy with something, and irreplaceable when he needs help, to accept him as he is. You need to not only teach children, but also learn from them. I take my profession very seriously, because I hold little children’s hearts in my hands and I want to leave only

joyful, bright memories of kindergarten. To open a child to himself and help him live and act in a rapidly changing world - this is what I see as the mission of a teacher in modern society.

My path to my favorite profession was long and difficult, but the ancient philosopher

Confucius said:

“Choose a job you like, and you won’t have to work a single day in

own life"

And these words are about me.

My achievements

1. Diploma for 1st place in the municipal postcard competition dedicated to International Women's Day.

2. Diploma for 1st place in the international competition “Best lesson notes for preschool educational institutions”

3. Certificate for 2nd place in the regional competition “Best SELFIE of a young specialist”

7. Certificate for conscientious work, creative attitude to the upbringing and education of children.

8. Diploma for 2nd place in the competition “Best Physical Education Corner” at MADOU kindergarten No. 61

Results of teaching activities

Conducted monitoring of the educational process in order to identify the level of children’s mastery of the necessary skills and abilities in educational areas on the basis of an exemplary general educational program for preschool education “From birth to school” edited by N. E. Veraksa, T. S. Komarova, M. A. Vasilyeva .

In the period from 2014 to 2015, the high level of individual development of children increased from 7% to 52%, the number of pupils with a low level of development decreased from 32% to 8%. Analysis of the results of pedagogical diagnostics shows positive dynamics in the level of knowledge of students.

Making a portfolio for a kindergarten teacher

When starting to draw up your own portfolio for a preschool teacher, you need to clearly understand what the goal is for the author of this work: what it will be needed for. In accordance with this, design requirements are drawn up. If the portfolio is presented for certification, then it is necessary to reflect the results of work, all of your achievements for a specific period. Sometimes a teacher wants to create a cumulative portfolio that he or she may need in the future. When working for the future, you can collect material about achievements throughout your work in your folder. A problem or thematic portfolio is designed a little differently, when all the teachers of the institution study a certain topic, and then the results obtained are compiled in the form of a folder. A person’s own mood and temperament also influence the design of a teacher’s portfolio, which is why we have such a large selection of backgrounds, pictures and frames for design in downloadable materials.

Methodological recommendations for compiling a teacher's portfolio

This is important to know!

The regulation on creating a portfolio was developed in accordance with the Law of the Russian Federation dated July 10, 1992 No. 3266-1 “On Education”, Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated March 24, 2010 No. 209 “On the procedure for certifying teaching staff of state and municipal educational institutions.”

A teacher’s portfolio is an individual folder in which his personal professional achievements in educational activities, the results of the development of his students, and the teacher’s contribution to the development of the education system over a certain period of time (usually the last 5 years) are recorded and accumulated. The portfolio provides integration of quantitative and qualitative assessments.

A portfolio allows you to take into account the results achieved by a teacher in a variety of activities: educational, creative, social, communicative. A portfolio is convenient to use to assess the level of professionalism of an employee during certification. The basis for compiling a portfolio can also be the desire and ability of the teacher to offer his positive experience for familiarization and implementation in teaching practice.

Approaches to building a portfolio can be varied, depending on the individual characteristics of the teacher. It is important for the teacher to analyze his work, his own successes, summarize and systematize his pedagogical achievements, objectively assess his capabilities and see ways to overcome difficulties and achieve better results.

A decent portfolio of a teacher is an indicator of his professional competence.

Portfolio content:

  • Title page;
  • Content:
  • Title page;
  • Content:

Section 1. General information about the teacher (this is a kind of business card, resume). FULL NAME. teacher, date of birth, education, specialty, full name of the educational institution in which the teacher works, position, length of service, teaching experience, qualification category, available awards, life position (motto), personal signature of the teacher. Although the appearance of the portfolio is not evaluated, it is of great importance. The portfolio reflects the individuality of the author, his creative abilities, creativity, and skill.

The presentation is the result of the work; it must be thought out in accordance with the type and purpose. This could be a defense of materials, a speech at a methodological association, a presentation of a portfolio could take place in the form of an exhibition of educational materials, a report accompanied by a computer display using a Power Point wizard, or a slide show.

Approximate portfolio evaluation criteria:

  • creative approach to creating a portfolio;
  • the degree of validity of the materials contained therein;
  • depth and practical significance of these materials;
  • the presence of a clear author's position in the development of materials; method of supplying materials;
  • portfolio design, etc.

A portfolio is a voluntary matter and reflects the individuality of the author-compiler; therefore, suggestions related to type, form, and content are advisory in nature. The author of the portfolio must be interested, passionate about its idea and must clearly understand the purpose of its creation and the possibility of its use in practical activities. The author must be aware of the purpose for which he places this or that document in the folder.

Portfolio design

The portfolio of teaching staff is prepared in printed form in the form of a storage folder with files.

Font: Times New Roman, size 14 pt.

Line spacing: one and a half.

Paragraph indentation is 6 characters.

The recommended amount of work is 15 – 25 pages.

Margins: left – 30mm. right – 20mm, top – 20mm, bottom – 20mm.

Page numbering: bottom, right edge.

Each material included in the portfolio is dated.

You can attach material to your portfolio in electronic form (multimedia presentations, photos and videos, etc.).

When preparing a portfolio of teaching staff at a preschool educational institution, the following requirements must be met:

  • systematic and regular self-monitoring;
  • reliability of materials included in the portfolio;
  • integrity, thematic completeness of materials;
  • analytical, teacher focus on increasing the level of professionalism and achieving better results;
  • accuracy and aesthetics of printed design;
  • confirmation mark from the methodologist or head of the preschool educational institution.

Title page of teacher's portfolio

It is not easy to design the title page of a teacher’s portfolio. This is a kind of calling card of the author. Having glanced briefly at the first page, most people already form an idea about the author of the work from that moment. The design of the title page should be colorful, but do not forget that behind this page a serious document filled with relevant information will open. The photo can become a decoration for the title page, but let the bunnies and bears remain for children. One photo on this page is not enough. The following information is required:

  • personal information;
  • name of the preschool educational institution;
  • year of registration of work.

How to properly design a title page for a preschool educational institution

The title page of a preschool educational institution carries not only general information about the teacher, but also creates certain impressions about him, and also influences the subsequent assessment of the activities of this employee. The design of this sheet should always be treated with special attention and accuracy. You shouldn’t overload him with information, but you also shouldn’t miss something.

The title page is a kind of “calling card” of the program. Therefore, like a business card, only the most necessary information should be indicated here:

  • full name of the educational institution according to the Charter;
  • where, when and by whom this program was approved (in the upper right corner - approved by the head of the preschool educational institution (date, signature, order number, in the upper left corner - ACCEPTED by the pedagogical council of the institution, protocol number);
  • full name of the program (for example, Work program for joint activities of a teacher with children 3-4 years old, junior group.);
  • compiled on the basis of ...... (approximate educational program of preschool education, educational program of preschool educational institution);
  • duration of the program (academic year);
  • Full name and position of the author(s);
  • city name;
  • year of program development.

Contents of the preschool teacher's portfolio

When preparing any document, structure is important. Only then does it look holistic, complete, and makes it possible to sum it up. By denying yourself something, the author loses the opportunity to be heard and understood, so it is important to pay attention to the content of the kindergarten teacher’s portfolio:

  1. title page;
  2. introduction;
  3. autobiography or portrait of the teacher;
  4. professional achievements over a specified period;
  5. achievements of pupils;
  6. social activity.

General recommendations for section design

Many preschool institutions have their own characteristics of designing and maintaining a teaching portfolio. But, nevertheless, we can also give general recommendations, a sample portfolio of a kindergarten teacher, which will allow teachers to successfully work on creating a bright, meaningful folder in order to consistently and as completely as possible reflect the stages, directions and results of their professional activities.

We offer you some tips and recommendations on how to design a teacher’s portfolio and which sections to include.

Introductory part

Here you need to indicate:

  • personal data (last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth),
  • education (copy of diploma attached),
  • general and teaching work experience,
  • professional status (indicate the institutions where you worked as a teacher, periods of work and qualifications).

This information can be formatted as a summary or introductory paragraph. Some institutions also include a short autobiography in this section.

Professional portrait

You should be creative in the design of this section, because you will need to write something like an essay, talking about yourself as a professional.

The teacher can state the following:

  • what caused the choice of profession;
  • what qualities, in his opinion, should a teacher working in a preschool institution have;
  • what are his professional interests and credo;
  • a brief overview of the stages of teaching activity;
  • prospects for professional development, existing achievements, including creative ones;
  • topics of innovative and experimental areas of their work (if any).

At the end of this story, it would not be amiss to indicate how the teacher himself assesses his professional competence.

Thematic folders

  1. Professional achievements

You can put in the folder:

  • plans for working with students,
  • notes on conducting open classes,
  • reports for teachers' councils,
  • lists of independently developed manuals (methodological, didactic),
  • personal reports on the results of work during the academic year,
  • descriptive or video materials on experience working with children and parents, etc.

By consistently adding to this folder (which will undoubtedly become the most voluminous part of the teacher-educator’s portfolio), it will be possible to create a rich selection of materials about the methodological and creative aspects of their work. In addition, this is an excellent opportunity to analyze existing professional skills in order to further expand and improve them.

  1. Students' successes

The folder should contain:

  • documents confirming the participation of children in sports events, competitions and exhibitions (copies of diplomas and certificates are also attached),
  • documents on the participation of children and the teacher in any projects,
  • data on the results of assessing the educational level of pupils, which is formed in the course of everyday activities with them.

Thus, this folder will accumulate materials that characterize the competence and activity of the teacher, his creative approach to working with preschoolers.

  1. Documents confirming professional growth

The materials in this folder should contain:

  • facts confirming the teacher’s advanced training, that is, completing courses, retraining, internships, receiving additional professional education, participating in professional skills competitions, seminars and conferences;
  • certificates of encouragement received for high results of teaching work and public activities.

Analysis of these materials will allow us to judge the level of professionalism of the teacher, his dedication and healthy ambitions.

  1. Recommendations, ratings and reviews

The folder name speaks for itself:

  • working recommendations given by the head and methodologist of the kindergarten,
  • various reviews received from parents and administration (employees) of the preschool institution,
  • letters of gratitude,
  • reviews of developed professional technologies.

The above and similar documents will be placed here to focus attention on the quality and effectiveness of the teacher’s work.

How to submit a portfolio of a senior kindergarten teacher for certification?

The design of a folder of achievements for a senior teacher is significantly different from the work that his colleagues will present. The emphasis should be on methodological work, which is carried out in a team under his leadership. Appendix Art. The educator is filled not only with materials confirming his own achievements, but also with scans of documents that will tell the reader of the document about the achievements of the staff and students of the institution.

How to make a portfolio for a primary or kindergarten teacher?

The portfolio of a teacher of a junior or nursery group is compiled in accordance with the Regulations developed in the preschool educational institution. Almost all sections are filled according to the usual pattern. Some may have difficulty completing the practical part. What achievements can children of the nursery or 1st junior group have? I think so for those who were not in the garden and did not work with these kids. A real teacher knows that there are many of them and they are different, and in order to convince the reader or his head that the work of this teacher is effective and efficient, you can attach video materials on disks. They will be a clear confirmation that the author of the work is an extraordinary person, even though he works in the first junior group, and choose the theme for design and templates yourself from those proposed.

“The work of a teacher can be compared to the work of a gardener growing various plants. One plant loves the light of the sun, another loves the cool shade; one loves the bank of a stream, the other a dry mountain peak; one grows on sandy soil, the other on oily, clayey soil. Everyone needs special care that is only suitable for them, otherwise they will not achieve perfection in their development.” Eastern wisdom

ESSAY “Me and My Profession” My profession is one of the most responsible, since the versatility of the development of children’s knowledge and skills, their beliefs, worldview, and moral qualities depends on my skill. My teaching experience is 25 years, I have been working as a teacher for 15 years. The components of my success are determination, responsibility, and communication skills. My teaching activity is to educate the younger generation, which is important for society. It takes place within the framework of the educational process and is aimed at creating optimal conditions for the upbringing, development and self-development of the personality of a preschool child. This allows you to give the child a certain supply of knowledge and skills, and develop his ability to use the acquired experience in life. My profession obliges me to always be extremely attentive, since I am responsible for the life and health of little people, for whom, depending on the circumstances, I have to act in different roles: a teacher who will teach everything, a playmate, a loved one who will listen, will understand and help in difficult times. The multifaceted life in kindergarten helped me master a variety of professional skills: finding the key to the heart of each child, establishing contacts with colleagues and families of pupils. My profession forces me to think thoughtfully about everything that surrounds me and to steadfastly endure the hardships of hectic teaching activities.

Or maybe buy a portfolio for a kindergarten teacher?

Does every teacher have fluent computer skills in order to draw up a portfolio of personal achievements? Unfortunately, not everyone. This problem is especially often faced by people with extensive experience and experience, who are loved by children and respected by their parents. Do you really have to blush during certification by presenting material that does not meet the requirements of modern design? Why, if you can buy or order a ready-made portfolio from specialists. Who said you can't do this? Why don’t we sew a holiday suit for ourselves after reading an amazing article about how easy it is to sew one without any skills? If you are proud of your work, then present it with dignity. And it doesn’t matter who the performer is in this case. The main thing is that you are the author of the idea, the results are there and everyone knows about them, and it doesn’t matter who typed the letters on the computer. In addition, buying a portfolio for a kindergarten teacher is not so expensive, but it will last for more than one year, and, perhaps, will help you win some competition or get a prestigious position. So why deny yourself something that can change your life? Don't add complexity to it, don't create it!

Let every kindergarten teacher have the best portfolio that will make others pay attention to his difficult work and appreciate it.

The program the teacher works on

Name of the program under which the teacher works To educate children, the educational process is organized according to the “Childhood” program. The 2014 “Childhood” program is a variable exemplary educational program for preschool education (Exemplary Program), which is developed on the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard for Preschool Education (Order No. 1155 of the Ministry of Education and Science of October 17, 2013). Teachers of preschool educational organizations can use it when developing basic educational programs for preschool education (BEP). Description of educational activities in accordance with the areas of child development presented in five educational areas: Educational area “Social and communicative development”; Educational field "Cognitive development"; Educational field “Speech development”; Educational field “Artistic and aesthetic development”; Educational field "Physical development". Goals of the “Childhood” program. Preschool age is a bright, unique page in the life of every person. It is during this period that the process of socialization begins, the child’s connection with the leading spheres of existence is established: the world of people, nature, the objective world. There is an introduction to culture, to universal human values. The foundation of health is laid. Preschool childhood is the time of the initial formation of personality, the formation of the foundations of self-awareness and individuality of the child. Therefore, the “Childhood” program was created by the authors as a program for the enriched development of preschool children, providing a unified process of socialization of individualization through the child’s awareness of his needs, capabilities and abilities. The goal of the program is to create for each child in kindergarten the opportunity to develop abilities, broad interaction with the world, active practice in various types of activities, and creative self-realization. The program is aimed at developing independence, cognitive and communicative activity, social confidence and value orientations that determine the child’s behavior, activities and attitude to the world. This will become possible if adults are aimed at: developing the personality of preschool children in various types of communication and activities, taking into account their age, individual psychological and physiological characteristics; creating conditions for the child’s development that open up opportunities for his positive socialization, personal development, development of initiative and creativity based on cooperation with adults and peers and in age-appropriate activities; creation of a developing educational environment, which is a system of conditions for the socialization and individualization of children. Objectives of the “Childhood” program. The 2014 “Childhood” program, developed on the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard for preschool education, is focused on: protecting and strengthening the physical and mental health of children, including their emotional well-being; ensuring equal opportunities for the full development of every child during preschool childhood, regardless of place of residence, gender, nation, language, social status, psychophysiological and other characteristics (including disabilities); ensuring continuity of goals, objectives and content of education implemented within the framework of educational programs of preschool and primary general education; creating favorable conditions for the development of children in accordance with their age and individual characteristics and inclinations, developing the abilities and creative potential of each child as a subject of relationships with himself, other children, adults and the world; combining training and education into a holistic educational process based on spiritual, moral and sociocultural values and socially accepted rules and norms of behavior in the interests of the individual, family, and society; the formation of a general culture of children’s personality, the development of their social, moral, aesthetic, intellectual, physical qualities, initiative, independence and responsibility of the child, the formation of prerequisites for educational activities; ensuring variability and diversity in the content of programs and organizational forms of preschool education, the possibility of creating programs of various directions, taking into account the educational needs and abilities of children; the formation of a sociocultural environment that corresponds to the age, individual, psychological and physiological characteristics of children; providing psychological and pedagogical support to the family and increasing the competence of parents (legal representatives) in matters of development and education, protection and promotion of children's health. Tasks of development and education in the “Childhood” program. The priority tasks of the development and upbringing of children are: strengthening the physical and mental health of the child, forming the foundations of his motor and hygienic culture; holistic development of the child as a subject of activities feasible for a preschooler; enriched child development, ensuring a unified process of socialization-individualization, taking into account children's needs, capabilities and abilities; development, based on different educational content, of emotional responsiveness, the ability to empathize, and readiness to demonstrate a humane attitude in children’s activities, behavior, and actions; development of cognitive activity, curiosity, desire for independent knowledge and reflection, development of the child’s mental abilities and speech; awakening the child’s creative activity and imagination, the desire to engage in creative activities; organic entry of the child into the modern world, diverse interaction of preschoolers with various spheres of culture: fine arts and music, children's literature and native language, ecology, mathematics, games; introducing the child to the culture of his country and instilling respect for other peoples and cultures; introducing the child to beauty, goodness, non-violence, for it is important that preschool age becomes the time when the child awakens a sense of belonging to the world, the desire to do good deeds.

Description of diagnostic methods Pedagogical diagnostics in kindergarten are carried out in accordance with the requirements of: – the “Childhood” program. We also use in our work: -Tests for children. E.V. Kolesnikova. Monitoring methods: – study of products of children's activities; – game and test tasks; – conducting control and assessment classes; – interviews with teachers, parents and children; – questionnaires and surveys; – analysis of documentation; – observation; – in natural conditions: observation, conversation, questioning, analysis of documents, products of activity, work experience of teachers – qualitative analysis and quantitative processing of results; – individual and group expert assessment; - rating.

All monitoring results are recorded in a special table (see Appendix 5).

Means and methods of education In order to successfully manage the pedagogical process, it is necessary to master the methods of education; know the conditions for the formation of personality, its freedom, responsibility for the preservation of life, nature, culture; understand the role of violence and nonviolence in history and human behavior; know a person's moral responsibilities to others and to himself. An educational method means a set of practical or mental actions and techniques of a teacher or student, the implementation of which can achieve the desired results. This is a system of principles that has a prescriptive nature, which prescribes how to organize expedient productive activities. Educational methods are determined by the goals, principles and content of education and allow one to solve certain pedagogical problems, being ways of interaction with students.

We use the following methods of education: methods of influence and persuasion: conversations, methods of organizing practical activities (choice, planning, motivation, instruction, exercise, reporting); stimulation methods (demands, evaluation, control, reward or punishment, competition); research and diagnostic methods (observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, expert assessment, experiment, analysis). Typically, educational methods are complex in nature and are applied in constantly changing specific educational situations, which are determined by external and internal pedagogical conditions. The combination of various methods allows you to quickly achieve the intended result in a learning situation. Any method is divided into methodological techniques, i.e. elementary situations of the pedagogical process (explanation, praise, question, answer, demonstration). The form of organization of education and training is also selected taking into account the goals, principles and content of education (educational process, family education, extracurricular work).

My author's program

My author's program

On the basis of MBDOU No. 183, I am implementing my own program on paper plastics. Reviewer: Associate Professor, Department of Preschool Education, MAOU DPO IPK, Novokuznetsk, Ph.D. ped. Sciences, E.G. Votinova. To teach children papermaking, the educational process is organized depending on the general goal, the assigned tasks, the specifics of the type of activity, the age characteristics and level of preparedness of children, and the conditions created for organizing children's activities. Goal: development of the creative abilities of students of senior preschool age and the formation of practical skills in working in the paper-plastic technique. In achieving the goal, the following tasks are solved: – master the basics of making products using paper-plastic and macrame techniques; – develop artistic taste, creative imagination, aesthetic perception of the surrounding world; – expand knowledge about the traditions of Russian culture and the native land, cultivate a sense of involvement in one’s people and their history; – to create the need for a conscientious attitude to work and accuracy in work. Traditional forms of education provide an opportunity to assimilate information, but limit the opportunities for students to develop creative thinking and practical skills. A prerequisite for achieving overall success in a child’s future creative activity is the ability to use acquired knowledge, apply it in action, in real conditions, that is, to make the transition from theoretical recommendations to practical ones. In the process of teaching children, active learning methods are used. For this purpose, the classification of M. N. Snatkina and I. Ya. Lerner is used: a) explanatory and illustrative (information and reproductive); b) reproductive (boundaries of skill and creativity); c) problematic presentation of knowledge; d) partially search (heuristic); e) research.

The learning process for children is conventionally divided into two stages: Stage 1 (1 year of study) – imitative, facilitating the assimilation of the activity algorithm. At this stage, preference is given to playful and creative forms of conducting classes: lesson - game, lesson - excursion, lesson - travel, lesson - fairy tale, etc. At this stage, one of the methods of teaching children is designing from samples, which helps to increase the level of knowledge, skills and skills in working with paper and thread. The positive aspects of this technique: a beautiful sample creates interest in the upcoming work and a desire to make the same product; helps children analyze a product according to a certain scheme or algorithm; seeing the quality of the product as a whole evokes a desire to do just as well, and develops taste. Stage 2 (2nd year of study) – creative, giving the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in practice. For the third and fourth years of study, the following forms of conducting classes are used: a lesson - a creative workshop, a lesson - posing problems and solving them; occupation – construction; activity – theatrical game; lesson - excursion; activity – creative workshop; activity – creative generalization; lesson – mutual control, self-esteem; occupation – protection of creative works, projects; lesson - test. At this stage, teaching methods are used, such as designing according to conditions, designing on a given topic, designing according to one’s own ideas, and students are invited to engage in project activities. These techniques provide more opportunities for independence and self-expression of the child’s creative personality. The listed methods and teaching techniques encourage students to actively think and practice in the process of mastering educational material. Active learning makes it possible to use a system of methods that is aimed primarily not at presenting ready-made knowledge, memorizing and reproducing it, but at students’ independent mastery of knowledge and skills in the process of active mental and practical activity. This allows not only to give children knowledge, but also ensures the formation and development of cognitive interests and abilities, creative thinking. The use of computer presentations and slides (“Origami World”, “Quilling”, “Paper Country”, “Scrapbooking, Applique, Decoupage”, etc.) make it possible to further interest students and show the variety of techniques, styles of papermaking and macrame and introduce children to the masters past and present. Students develop the desire and ability to think independently, the ability to navigate a new situation, find their own approach to solving a problem, the desire not only to understand educational information, but also ways to obtain knowledge; a critical approach to the judgments of others, independence of one’s own judgments. The introduction of active forms and methods into the educational process has shown that the reasonable and appropriate use of these methods significantly increases the interest of students in the lesson and increases the developmental effect of training. Active methods play a guiding, enriching, systematizing role in the mental development of children, promote active comprehension of knowledge, while speech develops, experience of interaction in a team is formed, and students learn to analyze, reason, plan, combine, and create new things. The creative association “Vseumeyki” is implementing an educational program on papermaking, which has been tested and is constantly being improved. The program was approved by the methodological council of MBDOU No. 183 in 2013, reviewer: Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool Education, MAOU DPO IPK, Novokuznetsk, Ph.D. ped. Sciences, E.G. Votinova and Yu. S. Ionov, senior teacher of MBDOU No. 183, highest category. The program is located in the methodological office of the preschool educational institution.
