Contents of the pedagogical process of preschool educational institutions

In terms of its content, the pedagogical process of a preschool educational institution is a combination of several educational areas. These include:

  1. Social and communicative development. It is associated with the child’s inclusion in the social space and mastering the basics of behavior in it. Communication and social interaction skills are being formed, its norms are being learned;
  2. Cognitive development. It is aimed at activating the cognitive processes of preschoolers. The child’s cognitive sphere needs to be developed; for this purpose, various motivating techniques are used;
  3. Speech development. It includes the formation of a child’s coherent speech; for this, attention is paid to the development of all aspects of speech and the activation of the body’s speech functions;
  4. Artistic and aesthetic development. It forms the creative foundations of the child’s activities, develops his creative thinking and lays the foundations for a creative approach to solving diverse problems;
  5. Physical development. It is aimed at maintaining the physical health of the child’s body and developing various motor skills. Also, the habit of regular exercise is developed.

All educational areas that are part of the pedagogical process of preschool educational institutions are focused on the full development of the child’s personality, the activation of all its aspects, taking into account the individuality of a particular child.

The content of preschool education classes includes the amount of knowledge and skills, ideas that should be formed in the child about a specific object or process in the surrounding world. The pedagogical process has a step-by-step organization. It is implemented during the following stages of activity:

  1. Goal setting. It is associated with the transformation of the goals of the pedagogical process of preschool educational institutions, laid down in the educational program for a specific year, to the individual parameters of the development of preschoolers of a specific age group. Goal setting is influenced by such factors as seasonality, integrativeness of educational activities, orientation towards the unity of the thematic content of classes, i.e. one topic is studied in class over a period of time - two weeks.   2. Implementation of the goals of the pedagogical process of preschool educational institutions. They are achieved throughout the entire process of interaction between teachers and preschoolers. For this purpose, different methods and means, technologies for organizing preschool education are used.
  3. Conducting operational pedagogical diagnostics. It is aimed at assessing the achievement of activity goals over a certain time period. The products of preschool children's activities are subject to monitoring.
  4. Making amendments to the pedagogical process, based on diagnostic data. Adjustments are made and implemented in practice.
  5. Final assessment of the implementation of the pedagogical process. It is carried out annually and reflects the success of the implementation of the educational program and the formation of competencies of preschoolers.
