Practical significance:
Can be used in an extracurricular reading lesson dedicated to the works of V. V. Bianchi. Game methods increase children's interest, promote the formation of communication skills, and allow them to convey knowledge on ecology in a free form. Everything in life comes from your own doorstep. To love your homeland means to know and understand it.
Target:
Conducting a competition - a game dedicated to Bird Day.
Tasks:
- based on the works of V.V. Bianchi, cultivate sincere interest and respect for the natural world;
- develop memory, speech, thinking, observation.
Equipment:
Portrait of V. V. Bianki, illustrations of birds, exhibition of books “V. V. Bianchi. Tales of nature", computer, multimedia projector.

Reading books by students:

Individual task: oral report about the writer.
Author's media product : presentation with author's photographs of the region's nature.
Players age : 3rd – 5th grade.
Rules of the game:
- The class is divided into 2 – 3 teams.
- Players on one of the teams select a sector on the playing field and the number of the question to which they must answer. For a correct answer, the number of points earned appears on the team’s account; for an incorrect answer, the corresponding number of points is deducted.
- Sector “Change of turn” - the question is given to another team.
- Sector “Surprise” – increased number of points for the correct answer to this question.
